![]() ![]() It's amazing how this studio makes mental health a priority, you know, the true silent killer. This IS a proper LiS experience: you'll find empathy, friendship, unconditional love and a whole roller coaster of other emotions. But since DONTNOD also made the original Life is Strange and many fans will probably come here looking for a LiS experience, I might as well let it out. I think it is kind of annoying when you start comparing games. I'm not even involved nor do I know anyone involved in the LGBTQ+ community. It took me months to get to the end of it but when I finally did, I played the remaining two chapters in only two nights. The first chapter is really slow and can be off-putting. It definitely wasn't made for gamer parents who have limited time. ![]() The dialogs could have a skip button, the interactive animations are slow, the walking is also slow and you can't run (there's a button to walk even slower though!). ![]() On the negative side, you have some very rare poor facial expressions or simply glitchy animations - they're not bad, just distracting. The beautiful and artsy graphics are perfect for this kind of tale. The characters are believable even if it's a somewhat unusual story. There's definitely no lack of closure with this one. The game sets you out to find "why?" and it sure delivers. Plenty of plot twists and secrets to uncover. ![]()
